I was very apprehensive about having driving lessons. I had had a couple when I had just turned 17, with an awful, mean instructor so I was put off lessons for awhile. I explained this to Aleem and he was very understanding. He let me take lessons at my own pace, and the first lesson we had, he let me get used to the car and helped me position my seat etc. He made me do exercises in how to steer, in braking and acceleration, these exercises where very helpful in boosting my confidence in driving. He was very helpful throughout my lessons, explaining manouvers and theory very carefully before letting me attempt the. I felt very safe in the car and this greatly reduced my anxiety about driving. He was very pleasant and friendly, putting me at ease very quickly. He's also pretty funny at times - I think it’s important to have a sense of humour in the job. He was always on time, and let me know if he couldn't make lessons well in advance. I could pick lessons whenever I needed the, - he worked around my timetable. Because of his tuition, I passed my test first time after only 32 lessons. Thank you very much Aleem and Ps for Australians Driving school for listen to me and assigning a great instructor. My experience of Ps for Australians driving school was fantastic, despite the fact that I was quite nervous before the first lesson. My instructor was excellent, remaining incredibly calm and patient despite my numerous driving mistakes. His tuition was of such a high standard that I passed my test first time, despite having never driven before in my life. During the lessons, I was given thorough preparation for all aspects of the driving test, and also trained in the techniques of bay-parking (a non-examinable, but extremely useful skill). Based on my very positive experience, I would certainly recommend Ps For Australians Driving School in Sydney to anyone, especially first-time drivers. I had previously taken lessons with another driving School but was unhappy with his lack of confidence (either in me or fear of letting control of the car). My sister recommended Steve from Ps for Australians driving School personally and I am so glad that I changed instructors. Steve is calm and inspires confidence as well as being patient.
